Living and working successfully with people with autism begins with understanding.
The Autism Experience Circuit is a series of 10 practical activities that will help you understand the challenges that people with autism may face and also what their strengths can be.
This is a two-hour workshop led by Esther Vliegenthart from Aan de Hand in which you will use all your senses. You will feel, smell, taste, hear and see how your cognition interprets experiences and how this can be different in a person with autism.
You will gain 10 concrete tips to take away and apply in different settings to become more autism-friendly.
This is an activity-based workshop with discussion. It is not a workshop to diagnose or discuss individuals.
The next Autism Experience Circuit will be held in the spring of 2021 (date still to be announced). It is expected that there will be an afternoon session and an evening session.
